Cavalier Motorcycle Ride-In

On Fathers Day weekend every year the small town of Cavalier, ND hosts a motorcycle event they call the Cavalier Motorcycle Ride-In. The quiet streets of Cavalier erupt into the thunder of engines, laughter, and community spirit. The Cavalier Motorcycle Ride-In is the states largest motorcycle gathering - a celebration of freedom, friendship, and small town charm.

This event started out in 1997 as a Thursday bike night and sidewalk sale that has exploded into a full-blown weekend long festival that attracts bikers from the Midwest and Canada. In 2025 the Ride-In celebrated its 29th anniversary, they must be doing something right!

After about an hour of catching up with other riders we hopped back on the bike and headed back east to Pembina, ND. This was a longer stop with food, live music, and plenty of drinks. We gossiped about life adventures, vacations, and other memorable motorcycle trips we have taken over the years with new friends. From here the group crossed in Minnesota, taking in some scenic miles before heading back west to Cavalier. This wasn’t just a ride, it was a tour of the Red River Valley’s beauty.
